I know, I carry around a lot of crap on a daily basis but this is what I keep in my makeup bag. It needs a clear out, which I will do after this!  The first, and most obvious thing which can be noted is that I carry around far too many lip products! Like, who needs 2 lip balms and 1000 lip sticks? The answer me, clearly.

I keep my chewing gum in here because this is the type of packaging that can spill everywhere. I, personally don't want cinnamon flavoured gum floating around my bag. I picked this up whilst I was in Las Vegas and whilst everyone around me seems to hate it, I love it.

Deodorant, isn't this a necessary? It's in here though as I've had aerosols accidentally spray in my bag before, and I don't want the lovely interior of my bag ruining. Anything that has a chance of leaking I try and package up.

A concealer, because I don't want them big red spots making an appearance throughout the day. They need to be covered! I also keep my powder and brush in here to eliminate any shine/give a bit of extra coverage when my foundation has gone a little patchy. My favourite is the MAC studio fix powder, the brush is a very old cheap one from boots years ago, but it works.

My lipsticks and a lip glosses just never get taken out, but this is one thing I am wanting to change. I don't honestly need to carry half of my collection around with me on a daily basis.I'll be doing a lipstick collection fairly soon so I'll show you the colours there, but if you have any questions until then just ask in the comments. These glosses however are my go-to. The Inglot AMC gloss is to-die-for, you cannot get a prettier gloss. This is my boyfriends favourite. The Clinique one is just good for everything, it doesn't really have a colour, it's just moisturising.

Handy wipes, I'm messy. I spill food regularly, get sticky hands, use them as a pick me up when my face needs refreshing after a couple hours slogging in the library. These are an item that I regularly question why I am carrying it, then no longer than 10 minutes later I whipping them out of my bag. 

My skin care products, (lip balm and serums). My face can usually feel really dry and tight during the day and as I don't always wear makeup I can apply it during the day as a little pick-me-up. I do have three lip balms, no reason. The best in my opinion is the little egg, this is my EOS lip balm, in sweet mint. However these aren't available in the UK, so for that I recommend the burts bees. 

Floss, you never want to be caught out with food in your teeth, another basic that I always use. 
Finally my case Is from Ted Baker, I got it in the malls in Las Vegas and I am totally in love with it. It's baby pick with rose gold hardware. Simple yet classy.

Spring Wishlist | HarleyJade

1) White heels- Okay so I originally saw a pair similar online at ChrsitianLouboutin.com and fell in love. Although clearly i cannot afford these right now, one day I hope these will be in my possession, For right now though, this pair from ASOS will do. White heels, for me, are a staple for the summer.

2) A new highlighter.  Although highlighters are my favourite piece of makeup, I only own two. I really want to expand this and buy a new one this season- preferably a cooler toned one. I've been looking at MAC lightscapade, if you have any recommendation let me know below?

3) A new contour shade. This one might actually end up being a repurchase, I'm currently using Sleek contour and highlight duo and sadly it's coming to an end. As much as I do love the shade, I think id rather just have the contour shade as an individual shade. I haven't really looked into any contour shades, so I don't really have any ideas.

4) MAC Lipliners. I actually don't own ANY lipliners, well maybe one nude from years ago in the depth of my collection, but for the most part none. I particularly want a nude one so I can make my lips look a little more plump. Also when looking at photos of people wearing brighter colours, when they're wearing lipliners it always looks more crisp compared to mine.

5) Coconut flour. Okay so I want to start making healthier desserts, as like I've mentioned I'm a self diagnosed chocoholic. I really want to make brownies and cookies, but all recipes call for healthier flour, such as coconut or chickpea. I might have a go at making my own chickpea so I shall be sure to check in and let you know how that goes.

6) Acrylic liquid. So I do my own acrylic nails and I've just about ran out of liquid, so this is kinda of a must. However right now I'm enjoying doing gel. The gel system I use is sensationail- I highly reccommend it but I'm going to be doing a review on that. But I might have to treat myself to a new gel shade, maybe a nude?

What Better way to start a new blog than with 50 facts about me?!

1) My name is Harley, middle name Jade. 

2) I'm 21, and I spent my 21st birthday in Las Vegas with my mum getting drunk. It was defiantly the best holiday I've ever had

3) I am currently at Sheffield Hallam University studying Aerospace Engineering. 

4) Being a girl, I'm the minority on my course.

5) I love make-up and I enjoy collecting it. Even though my student loans don't really allow it :(

6) I have a map on my wall with all the places I'd like to travel too marked on there- Travelling is another love. Ill do a post on it one day in the near future.

7) My main 'hobby' is going to the gym, I enjoy lifting heavy (heavy for me) weights.

8) I'm not really interested in fashion, but I do love my bags and shoes. 

9) One day I hope to work on things that go into space

10) I want to go into space and work on the space station- but that'll take alot of dedication and hard work

11) Stereotypically, I LOOOOVE the colour pink.

12) I have a black belt in Taekwondo that I gained on my 19th brithday.

13) I also used to cheer with my university team, and we finished the season undefeated, and won national grand champions. We did good.

44) My boyfriend is on the same course as me, which makes deadlines less stressful.

49) One morning me and a friend was talking about breaking bones and I boasted that I had never broken one. That afternoon I broke my wrist, which followed with me breaking another 4 bones that year.
